Whether you wish to relax and enjoy your safari experience alone or mix with like-minded people and make new friends along the way, a safari offers it all. There will be fellow travellers on the game drives and activities in the day and around the bar and campfire of an evening. There is so much to talk about and exciting stories to share when on safari, with plenty of chat around the dining table and the fire over a sundowner. You can then relax after the excitement of the game drives, listen to the sounds of the wild from a riverside hammock, take a swim or enjoy a tranquil massage and enjoy a little ‘you’ time in the privacy and quiet of your own bedroom/tent at the lodge.

Did you know?

• Single supplements are off putting but some lodges will drop these in low and mid seasons and we will try and help find lodges who will drop them in these seasons.
• You have the added reassurance that the team at the lodge are on hand 24-7 if you need anything.
• You can join small group safaris gorillas or chimp tracking in Uganda and Rwanda or walking safaris in Zambia.
• Set dates riding safaris and mobile safaris happily include single travellers.
• Many lodges have communal dining and drinks around the fire beforehand so you will always have others to chat to.
• You will be sharing your safari vehicle with other visitors so experience wildlife encounters together.
• Guides and camp staff will look after solo travellers especially well.
