You can combine the coast with one of the many safari destinations, perhaps riding a horse through herds of animals or taking a camel trek through the desert, or gliding down a river in a canoe past hippos and crocs and tracking rhino and elephant on foot. If that all sounds a bit too strenuous, you can see all the game you could wish for from the comfort of your vehicle, and, even from the balcony of your luxury lodge or pool.
