South Africa : Cape Town

Cape Town is a cosmopolitan and sophisticated city built up around the renowned Table Mountain. Once a stop off point for weary sailors on their way to the east, the city has developed and maintained a reputation for friendly hospitality. There is plenty to see and do in and around Cape Town with markets, museums, shopping and excellent restaurants. You can venture further to see the penguins at Boulder's Beach, or go walking, mountain biking, kayaking and diving, all of which can be done in close proximity of the city. Hotels and smaller guesthouses in and around Cape Town offer a very high standard of food and accommodation, and are a great base as well as a retreat when city life gets too much.
